Art Gallery: THE ARTS Faculty Exhibition

Collin College professors are stepping out from behind the podium to showcase their artwork at THE ARTS Faculty group exhibition from Wednesday, Aug. 23- Wednesday, Sept. 20 at Collin College's THE ARTS Gallery, room A175, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano.

Free and open to the public, the exhibit features diverse media and style which reflect the varied professors' talents. This unique exhibit offers students and the public opportunities to view works that could be created in various classes including 2-D design, 3-D design, ceramics, communication design, digital arts, drawing, figure drawing, jewelry/art metals, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and watercolor.

Most writers claim that revision is the most time-consuming and difficult stage of the writing process. However, too often, this stage is misunderstood and gets short-changed. Come learn what revision really is, as well as some useful strategies to help you revise your essays.

This seminar is designed to teach Collin College students about plagiarism and academic integrity. Participants will learn what constitutes plagiarism (intentional and unintentional), how to avoid plagiarizing by using proper citation methods, the importance of academic integrity, and the consequences of scholastic dishonesty.
